Gordon Banks MP happy to support 'The Clackmannanshire Bridge'

Gordon Banks MP for Ochil & South Perthshire pledged his support to the campaign to name the new Bridge the Clackmannanshire Bridge by adding his signature to the petition.

Mr Banks said,

“I am more than happy to support this campaign as I believe it will bring Clackmannanshire more recognition, as well as help grow the local economy with greater access for business and those who wish to visit the area.”

Mr Banks concluded

“I would urge everyone to get behind the Clackmannanshire Bridge name and support the Council in its campaign, thus joining the likes of footballer Alan Hansen, the Alexander Brothers, Alloa Athletic and of course elected members from all parties.”
